Our Commitment
SureFirst Lending is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including people with visual, motor, auditory, and cognitive disabilities. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time fix.
What Our Accessibility Toolbar Does
You'll find an accessibility icon in the bottom-left corner of every page. Clicking it opens a panel of tools you can use to adjust how the site displays for you, including:
- Text size, line height, and letter spacing adjustments
- A readable font option
- Highlighting for headings and links, and an underline-links option
- Text alignment controls
- Dark, light, and high-contrast color modes
- Saturation adjustments, including a monochrome option
- An option to hide images
- An option to stop animations and motion effects
- A reading guide that follows your cursor
- Hover and keyboard-focus highlighting
- An enlarged cursor option
- Quick-apply presets for common needs (e.g., Seizure Safe, Vision Impaired, ADHD Friendly, Cognitive Support, Keyboard Navigation)
Your preferences are saved in your browser so they carry over as you move between pages on this site.
What This Toolbar Does Not Do
We want to be direct about this: the toolbar adjusts how the page is displayed, but it does not automatically rewrite or repair the underlying code of the site. It is not an automated compliance system, and using it does not by itself guarantee conformance with WCAG or any legal accessibility standard. We are separately working to improve the site's underlying HTML — including image descriptions, form labeling, and navigation structure — as an ongoing part of maintaining this website.
Keyboard and Screen Reader Use
We aim to support standard keyboard navigation and common screen readers, and we're actively improving labeling and structure across the site to that end. We have not had this site independently audited or certified by a third-party accessibility testing service at this time.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some pages or elements may not yet be fully accessible. This is an active work in progress, and we welcome feedback that helps us identify and fix gaps.
